ROUTE 1

The first proposed route runs through the municipalities of Campo Real, Pozuelo del Rey, Loeches, Torres de la Alameda and Valverde de Alcala.
The route that arises is divided into 5 sections that begin and end in the municipalities mentioned above.
Special care is recommended in the sections where we should go on the road, although the dirt roads also need to pay attention and that they circulate vehicles.
This route has steep slopes and present a good state roads to be traveled.

Section A

Campo Real - Pozuelo del Rey

We begin this section in Campo Real. From College Street Miguel Delibes take Paseo Pozuelo, and cross the New Residential Altos de Campo Real. Once you cross the residential side or take dirt road, known as the Camino de Arganda. At first, this road runs parallel to the M-209 that goes from Campo Real Villar del Olmo, although at no time since this road is the road.
In this section you walk between upland crops and olive groves and vineyards on the first leg.
The beginning of this section has some up and down. Approximately 60 meters from the start, the road forks in two. We will take the right path. From here are deviations to the right and left, we will take any of them do not always choose the path that goes straight.
In this first installment we left San Juan hill to our right. If we go to this hill, we will have excellent views of a splendid view.
Throughout this section we will not take any detours, always follow the road straight. From this hill there are hardly any significant pending.
At some point we left the Hermitage of the Virgen de la Cabeza, and behind the town of Pozuelo del Rey. From here the olive trees and vineyards disappear to make way for rainfed crops.
Arriving near the town of Pozuelo del Rey we came across a wider road. We take the left turn. As soon we have a small line to the end of this section.

Section B

Pozuelo del Rey - Loeches

We start from Pozuelo del Rey, from the roundabout at the junction of roads. We took the road to Torres de la Alameda.
Before leaving the village to the left we find the entrance to the Hermitage of the Virgen de la Cabeza. This is a Neoclassical chapel-Renaissance (XVI-XVII centuries). The entrance is marked by a pleasant stroll among the trees leading up to the hermitage.
From this special care, we will go about 300 meters down the road, remember that if you walk you should go to the left. On this road to Torres de la Alameda, ran the old Castings Galiana, currently only remains a stretch, being in place the current road. Once past the cement, which we leave to the right, take the first road that goes to the left, called the King's Highway, which leads directly to Loeches.
This road runs parallel to the road to Loeches, and through fields of dry cereal. The road condition is good, and with little slope. We'll get to Highway M-220 that we cross.
We will take special care when we cross the M-220, since the visibility is low, stop and look both sides of the road before crossing. We will follow the same path once crossed the road.
From here, we come to the first ascents and descents, where we have a splendid view across the plain. In the background a beautiful view of the town and surrounding Loeches.
Later we find Loeches where you can visit the tower of the church of Our Lady of the Assumption. If we rotate the view to the right we see the Cerro de la chair, characterized by its high mountain altitude 757 meters. Here you can enjoy a pleasant view.
We reached a point where the path reaches a fork, if you follow the right is going to Torres de la Alameda. If we take the left path will lead us to Loeches, we barely reaching 30 meters. Cross a stone bridge which will cross below and we will have arrived. If we take the right path to take us to Torres de la Alameda.

Section C

Loeches - Torres de la Alameda

We start from the road that goes next to the gas station is on the M-300. For reference see a stone bridge which crossed below 200 meters below. The road forks on the left taking. Just 50 meters back later and re-fork take the left path. This road is known as the Camino de Torres de la Alameda.
At first we smooth ups and downs. In this section predominantly rainfed crop fields and fallow fields only at the end of the section, now at Torres de la Alameda, the non-irrigated fields are mixed with olive trees. Cross the large bridge creek, stream carries water only. From here we raise our view we can enjoy a landscape where the mountains stand in the background.
Go straight ahead until we can see the town of Torres de la Alameda. Just behind the village, the highest hill you can see, is known as the Cerro Monte Alto.
We went into Torres de la Alameda by Lopez de Vega Street, next to Plaza de Toros. To continue to Valverde de Alcalá must go through all the people.

Section D

Torres de la Alameda - Valverde de Alcalá

Candelaria street party in Torres de la Alameda, starts a dirt road known as road to Valverde. This road runs parallel to the M-225 that goes from Torres Valverde. At first appear deviations on both sides but we will always straight.
The section is characterized by steep slopes and not having the status of the road is good. The landscape is a rainfed crop plain surrounded by rolling hills or mountains. These hills, steep slopes reaching up to 800 meters.
Follow the path ahead, and about Valverde de Alcalá, where we find an area of ​​pine trees to the right of way.

Section E

Valverde de Alcalá - Pozuelo del Rey

We start from Valverde de Alcalá, if we come from Torres de la Alameda, we have to turn down the path that comes right at the entrance of Valverde de Alcalá.
If we start from Valverde, from the crossing of the San Roque Street Torres Street, some of which left a path. From here you can see the Convent of Our Lady of the Angels.
Nothing to leave behind the convent, the road forks into two, take the left path and continue along this path until we come to another fork. There continue to the left, about 500 meters to the “Camino de Valverde” and turn right.
Once we have this road, there are several deviations to the right and left, continue always straight.
Cross grain fields and olive groves throughout this section. Pozuelo arrive at the Calle del Rey Round of the Hermitage, which takes us to one side of the Church.

Specific Recommendations

Below are a series of recommendations and tips to keep in mind for secure each of the routes proposed here:

- Clothing: should be aware that depending on the time of year to be carried out routes, weather conditions will be different, so you should wear clothes appropriate to each season. It will be necessary to avoid heat stroke hat on sunny days.
